How the workplace as a social institution directly affect women's lives? ?
For better or worse? Re: maternity care child management, sexism, etc. Are there any recent examples of these effects?
I was outside the place of full-time work for some time, but there are many things that have impacted my life. Because employers want people in general will not be "off" job that had problems during the time I was of childbearing age because of the assumption that he would have more children. Childcare is a question (some may remember when the facilities further work premises was concerned), because of cost and because if I were a sick child or had other needs that meant leaving work to address this problem. I was one of the lucky ones because my husband had a large margin in his own work and often can help children with illnesses or emergencies, and consider the needs of child care to a minimum. This had an effect on our relationship, to some extent, but not by sexism but by the hours variable cut our time together. When I was able to break into my profession, I had more freedom with my own schedule, but until then, child care was not a big problem. I do not remember running a lot of gender issues, but I worked in an atmosphere very different from a lot and I continued my professional work in the same workplace. For me, work has become my "social institution", largely because other than my children, who were my social contacts, and my teammates. We worked together and played together. Much of this was dictated by the strict Confidentiality of our work. Please write if you have any questions or concerns about what I wrote.
Could childcare be the solution to workplace absenteeism?
