pregnancy loss

The absence of menstruation due to dramatic weight loss or pregnancy?

I am 4 days late on my period. There was stained a week and I thought it was my period, but apparently not. I also lost much weight over the last two months (16 pounds to be exact) and very active recently (90 minutes of work every other day) Me and my boyfriend use a condom (correctly) every time you have sex. I havent had any symptoms of pregnancy, but I would like to see personal accounts, please! I do not want to be pregnant!

Congratulations on the weight loss. Sometimes, when many lost weight and especially to increase your Excersize, your body "thinks" that are not ready for a baby. In the past, many Excersize and weight loss could have meant he was walking into a new house or a period with little food. This is not a good time to have a baby. Light spotting during the week was the body was probably his last for months and make the decision to try again later. May your period is irregular for a few months you get used to their new / weight excerise regime. BUT, no contraceptive method is perfect – even with the use of condoms have a perfect success rate of 95-99% (by source). This means that for every 100 women who use condoms perfectly for one year, 1-5 will get pregnant. So you might be pregnant. Or wait a month to see if you get a period, or if you want to know now, a pregnancy test. Congratulations on your weight loss, Catherine
