Need advice for parents of preschool children with special needs.?
I have a son who is PDD. I tried the school education special. program, then decided it must be one to teach him. Has a limited vocabulary, but it's better every day. It shows little interest in the program, I bought it. Any suggestions on teaching such things as opposites, upper, middle, bottom, inside, outside. I have cards with pictures that show them, but it's too boring to keep their attention. I need examples active and diverse examples of the same stuff. I want to work with him wherever we go, as the supermarket or bank, etc. Please any help.
You probably need a lot more visual and practical information on the type of work. My DD has ASD and teaches * very * well for the team. Most part of what she knows (she is 8 now), heard Leap Frog Leapster. Flash cards are boring. PECS
